Do I need a credit card for the Free plan?
No. You can sign up and use the Free plan without entering any payment details. You only add a card if you decide to upgrade.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account's Billing tab. Changes take effect right away.
How does yearly billing work?
Yearly plans are billed once a year at a lower per-month price than monthly billing, and you can cancel anytime from your account's Billing tab.
What happens if I hit my Free plan search limit?
You'll be prompted to upgrade to Pro for unlimited searches. Your bookmarks and search history are never affected.
Which states do you cover, and how current is the data?
Perfecta searches UCC filings in 16 states. Fifteen are searched live in each state's own records at the moment you search, so you see what the state shows today; Ohio is searched from the state's official bulk data export. The Coverage & Status page lists every state and whether it's responding right now.
When will I get a filing alert?
Monitored entities are checked once a week. If anything new has been filed against them, you get a single email rounding up everything new across all the entities you monitor.
Can I download the filings themselves?
Pro and Enterprise include filing copy downloads, where the state makes a copy available. Excel exports of your results are unlimited on every plan, including Free.
Does Perfecta replace a certified search?
No. Perfecta is a fast, live first-look search tool, not a substitute for the certified search process lenders, attorneys, and title companies still need for anything that matters legally.
