Not a certified search

Perfecta is not a substitute for an official certified UCC search. Results are pulled live from official state databases and reflect exactly what those systems make available - they may be incomplete, delayed, or limited by the source itself.

For lending, legal, or compliance decisions, obtain a certified search directly from the relevant Secretary of State.

Not legal advice

Nothing on Perfecta is legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for anything relying on the accuracy or completeness of these results.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Perfecta to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the site or the state systems it queries
• Scrape or systematically extract data from Perfecta at a scale beyond normal individual use
• Use search results to harass, stalk, or discriminate against any individual or business
• Misrepresent Perfecta's results as an official or certified government record

Data accuracy

Perfecta aggregates public records but doesn't create, verify, or control them. We make no warranty that results are accurate, complete, or current, and we aren't responsible for errors or omissions that originate from the underlying state source.

No warranty; limitation of liability

Perfecta is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perfecta and its operator aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its data.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Perfecta and its operator harmless from any claim, loss, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will change too. Continued use of Perfecta after an update means you accept the revised terms.
